First example: my ignorance of pool construction, pool equipment, and balancing water chemicals knows no bounds. The folks at the Richboro store are always helpful, patient and inquisitive. I keep going back there for my supplies because of that. Second example: I had an in-ground plumbing issue with old flexi-PVC pipe. Four other pool companies came out to do an assessment; instead of attempting to fix the pipes now, they offered to dig everything up and re-do the returns/skimmers for thousands of dollars. Oh, and they were more than willing to re-do my tiles and re-plaster the pool interior. For tens of thousands more. Fine...good...the pool will eventually need that work, but that wasn't my problem and that wasn't what I wanted initially. The AquaPool people at Feasterville came out to do evaluate the system and simply fixed the pipes above ground. They made some other adjustments on the equipment and offered additional helpful advice. Maybe it is the moment we are living in and pool companies think they can simply name a price and you will pay it.
Maybe because pool companies think that living in a certain zip code, you are made of money. Whatever. At least with AquaPool, the have a loyal customer as well as a booster. I am talking with them about additional services they can offer. I am also asking them for referrals regarding the work they do not perform. When you find people who can help fix your problems AND save you money AND offer you helpful advice you didn't even know you needed...you stick with them. The price was fair and the work was done in 1 day just before opening season. Even though I had alot of questions and had just 1 small issue after install the technician, Chip, was quick to fix it, answer my questions and show me how the equipment works. Adam & Chip are great.
