Pool Games For Labor Day Weekend!
Invisi-Bottle
What You’ll Need
- Water Bottle with pool water inside (take off label and make sure it has a white cap)
Players stand outside of the pool. Have somebody throw the bottle into the pool without the players looking. After the players hear the splash they jump in. First player to find the bottle wins. This game becomes surprisingly challenging after you’ve had your pool cleaned by Aqua Pool.
Marco Polo
What You’ll Need
- Blindfold
- At least 4 players
First, you must decide which player is “IT”. The person who is “IT” must be blindfolded and count to whatever number seems fit for their age. Then they must try to find the other players. When the player who is “IT” says Marco the other players must respond with Polo. This gives the player who is “IT” an idea where they might be. If tagged, that player now becomes “IT” and the same rules apply.
Basketball
What you’ll need
- Poolside basketball net
- Basketball, volleyball, or other appropriate ball
Everybody plays basketball a little differently but is one the best pool games. There are endless games you can play with a basketball net in the pool. A classic game is H-O-R-S-E, but if you want to give it a pool twist you can play S-E-A-H-O-R-S-E.
Diving for Gold
What you’ll need
- Coins
Players stand outside of the pool. Have somebody throw the coins into the pool without the players looking. Then the players jump in and try to find the coins. The players can then keep the coins they’ve found.
